Vestas wind Systems / Mongolia

For this retrospective look at Vestas’ first wind farm in the country, we shot for 23 days in the Gobi desert with its extreme weather, and limited food and living conditions. Along the way, we capture the essence of Mongolia - from Genghis Khan’s massive equestrian statue near Ulaanbaatar, to the daily optimism of common folks in cut-off Tsetsii.
